Duty Free at Sydney Docks

When we arrive at Sydney Docks,Australia is there a duty free shop to purchase goods and Liquor ,as we are travelling around Australia for 1 month.Please advice.:

I would do as Cruiser Bruce recommended.

 

I am not aware of a duty free liquor store at the docks though.

Duty free purchases may be made only* when exiting a country, not for continuing to travel in (or around) that country. Any duty free shop in the Sydney cruise ship port would be exclusively for those sailing away from Australia. For example, if your next stop is New Zealand, you would be eligible to make duty free purchases.

 

"Tax free" is different, but often confused with "duty free."

 

*A few places, like Iceland and Bermuda, have "duty free on arrival" shops.
