PBI to POM

Hello,

I am cruising 4/12 to 4/19 on NCL. I periodically have been checking Kayak for flights from NYC and I saw a $195 round trip on JetBlue to PBI that arrives 4/11 11:59 pm and departs PBI 4/19 2:36 pm. I grabbed it immediately because I knew it was a great deal. I want to keep costs down so ground transportation doesn't result in this deal being bad in the end, so:

1. For pre-cruise, I was planning to stay very close to PBI. I was planning to arrive the night before anyway so a hotel stay won't add to my overall planned cost. Which hotel should I stay in near the airport? Are there any on-site hotels at PBI?

2. On Saturday, I was going to use tri-rail to go to POM. If I stay close to PBI then will most hotels have free shuttles to tri-rail?

3. From the Miami Airport station I was going to taking Super Shuttle to POM. Is this a good idea? Please advise.

4. For the return, I was going to take super shuttle to Miami Airport station and then tri-rail it back to PBI. Again, please let me know if this is a good option. From the tri-rail station, there is a free shuttle to the airport, correct?

Thank you very much!

right now it's just me but I will likely have a companion or a group of ppl... I wanted to grab up the JetBlue flight while I could lol. But best thing is taxi or SuperShuttle from MIA inter-rail station, correct?

In all of your applications of the SuperShuttle, taxi will be the better transport.

This is the way to go.

PBI tri rail station to the metro rail transfer station. ( 1 hour ride)$5 pp.

Metro rain to the Government center station. (30 mins.)$5pp.

Taxis are available at the exit of the station.

$10 cab ride.

This station is busy.

To go home, do the opposite.

The trip is not as complicated as it sounds.

The most popular hotels near PBI are:

Airport Hilton ( best & most convienant IMO)

Marriott ( called Marriott WPB on Okeechobee Blvd.)

DoubleTree Suites

Good Luck..

Big Al
