Irene7 Posted October 18, 2013 #28 Share Posted October 18, 2013 (edited) Actually two free cruises because if they are getting reimbursed for their original cruise so they could book another. Plus they are giving them a free cruise That is not two free cruise. They are getting reimbursed for a cruise that was cancelled. If they book another with that refund, they are still paying for the cruise. They also have a choice of a free 5 night cruise taken before 5/2014 OR 35% off another cruise good for 2 years. How are you figuring two free cruises? Edited October 18, 2013 by Irene7

Cancelled cruise refunded. Then either free cruise on Magic ( same days/ same people) or discount on another cruise. Still what we call a bog off, buy one get one free! Ex techie Posted October 18, 2013 #41 Share Posted October 18, 2013 The new "duck tail" looks like the perfect landing platform for pirates?! I would guess they have added some additional preventative measures or will not be venturing to hostile waters? jouset_1345 Posted October 18, 2013 #42 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Photo from my TA Ummm ... look closely on the last lido window to the right; rust everywhere... don’t know if they are putting that attention to detail on the New Magic …
Ex techie Posted October 19, 2013 #43 Share Posted October 19, 2013 (edited) Ummm ... look closely on the last lido window to the right; rust everywhere... don’t know if they are putting that attention to detail on the New Magic … That looks like the powder coating hasn't been attended to on the aluminum structure and has peeled away due to the sea air. BUT as you say, it does show a area of the whole bow to stern makeover that has been skipped, corners cut and promises broken. I look forward to the reviews of the Staterooms..... grand isle joe Posted October 19, 2013 #47 Share Posted October 19, 2013 That's too bad for those who booked. We just had an Adventure By Disney in2014 cancelled and Disney gave us NOTHING.....NOTHING.... Although we already scheduled our vacation time around this vacation. Not even a few bucks off a future trip. The trip itself was sold out. Funny how different they treat their guests.

Not even a few bucks off a future trip. The trip itself was sold out. Funny how different they treat their guests. Yipes - so sorry to hear that! My guess would be that these folks got only several days of notice regarding the cancellation, whereas in your case the travel is not until 2014 so there is time to make different travel plans? Still, it is quite frustrating, and tough when you need to plan your vacation in advance. Do you think you could do the trip on your own without Disney? Or with a different travel company? Perhaps an alternative trip. Hope so. Good luck!
DISNEY FANTASY Posted October 19, 2013 Author #49 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I think on all late notice cancellations they should pay compensation, we have to pay in full and loose a percentage if deposit if we cancel so it's fair that if they cancel they should pay up.
