Hey do they give you your money back if they deny boarding based on your answers to the health questioneer?

Not sure, but we haven't had to fill out a piece of paper the last few cruises, they just ask a couple of questions and that's it.

They asked us verbally when we got our sign and sail cards for liberty two weeks ago.

 

They will not give you refund if you are denied boarding for health reasons.

I only remember filling one out once and I think it was on my first cruise on RCCL in 2004.

We had friends that had Noro, and hid that they had it and boarded, cause they figured they would not get their money back.

 

I know I can't even hide from a mirror when I have Noro. I look like a bad alien from Lost in Space.

Since the illness is not the cruise lines fault why would you think they would offer refund? Yes I am sure.

seems like most would lie so as not to lose their money, then spread their illness about the ship.

 

Of course if you had travel insurance that would make you whole.

There are times where they are on alert for illnesses and pull folks aside for an interview.

I doubt many would tell the truth in that situation and risk being denied boarding.

Read once on one of these boards that someone was denied boarding by the cruiseline and then went to their doctor who said they were fine for travel. Didn't get a refund from cruiseline nor would their travel insurance pay for it.

Carnival stopped the requirement that you fill out the form with the health questions. They can deny you boarding though if you appear physically sick and will not issue a refund.

They didn't ask us about being sick although I was asked how many weeks along I was in my pregnancy... Guess it wasn't a very flattering shirt as I explained to her I'm just fat lol not sure whose face was redder

Have you read your cruise contract? It does state that Carnival has the right to refuse boarding if you are not physically fit.

 

Your money will not be refunded. If you are worried...buy travel insurance.

Once again...OP check out your cruise contract. Carnival can deny you boarding. You will not be refunded by the cruise line, that is what travel insurance is for.

No they do not refund your money. They send the nurse off the ship to talk to you and then they take your temp, if you have a temp you don't sail.
