cathyz Posted October 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Not sure, but we haven't had to fill out a piece of paper the last few cruises, they just ask a couple of questions and that's it.
KenMo Posted October 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I don't know either, but I can't remember the last time we had to fill out the health questionnaire. I know for sure we didn't fill it out in September.

golfadj Posted October 19, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 19, 2013 They asked us verbally when we got our sign and sail cards for liberty two weeks ago. They will not give you refund if you are denied boarding for health reasons.
MIZZ_K Posted October 19, 2013 #6 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I only remember filling one out once and I think it was on my first cruise on RCCL in 2004.

LargeCornGyro Posted October 19, 2013 #8 Share Posted October 19, 2013 We had friends that had Noro, and hid that they had it and boarded, cause they figured they would not get their money back. I know I can't even hide from a mirror when I have Noro. I look like a bad alien from Lost in Space.

S.S.Oceanlover Posted October 19, 2013 #12 Share Posted October 19, 2013 seems like most would lie so as not to lose their money, then spread their illness about the ship. Of course if you had travel insurance that would make you whole. Bill

packedandready Posted October 19, 2013 #15 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Read once on one of these boards that someone was denied boarding by the cruiseline and then went to their doctor who said they were fine for travel. Didn't get a refund from cruiseline nor would their travel insurance pay for it.

I'm going to ask Saturday when I check in how many say "Yes, I've been sick." I'll wait until after S&S card in hand.

winddawn Posted October 19, 2013 #18 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Hey do they give you your money back if they deny boarding based on your answers to the health questioneer? Carnival stopped the requirement that you fill out the form with the health questions. They can deny you boarding though if you appear physically sick and will not issue a refund. Noel182002 Posted October 19, 2013 #19 Share Posted October 19, 2013 They didn't ask us about being sick although I was asked how many weeks along I was in my pregnancy... OOPS...I quoted the wrong person in regards to my answer above...lol Meant to answer jackson bernard who keeps saying..are you sure...do you have proof. Once again...OP check out your cruise contract. Carnival can deny you boarding. You will not be refunded by the cruise line, that is what travel insurance is for. ManyMore Posted October 20, 2013 #24 Share Posted October 20, 2013 No they do not refund your money. They send the nurse off the ship to talk to you and then they take your temp, if you have a temp you don't sail.
LovesCruising Posted October 20, 2013 #25 Share Posted October 20, 2013 I can't help but feel either the OP is trying to get everyone going OR He needs to cancel - has no insurance - wants to show up at the pier and say yes he is sick to get denied boarding hoping to get his money back:eek:
