sherlynn Posted November 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Which non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the different venues onboard the Oasis free of charge? Where can we get good ole "Adam's Ale" around the ship and I assume it is filtered thru the ship's system? I also assume that bottled water is available for a charge and I've heard that we can also carry on a case of water?
bilyclub Posted November 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2013 The usual stuff, lemonade, iced tea, water. Oasis also has the flavored water.
hooked-on-travel Posted November 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2013 flavored with what?
cb at sea Posted November 11, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2013 It's some sort of fruit flavored water......berries, or peach...something like that. No calories....it's just water with a bit of flavor added. You can bring water, but the ship's water is fine...after all, the ice, drinks, and food is made with ship's water! sherlynn Posted November 11, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) How about white milk in the dining room for my kids? That is a staple for them at home. No pop allowed so I'm not worried about purchasing the soda pkg. Also, are there any beverages included if you order from room service? Sorry, I'm looking for more clarification. We don't do artificial sweeteners, so zero calorie crystal light style flavoring is a no for us. But flavored by soaking in actual raspberries is good. Do you know if the flavoring is actual fruit or artificial flavoring?

Do you know if the flavoring is actual fruit or artificial flavoring? Get one of those water bottle/flavor infuser thingies. Get fresh fruit from the Windjammer buffet and make your own flavored water. :) http://www.amazon.com/Infuser-Water-Bottle-Ounce-Ingredients/dp/B0093F9LW6 Edited November 15, 2013 by Merion_Mom
hooked-on-travel Posted November 15, 2013 #13 Share Posted November 15, 2013 Well drat, but good idea, Merion Mom, I'll make my own. And I don't even need the infuser. I just stick the raspberry/lime slice/whatever right in my glass.

Langley Cruisers Posted November 15, 2013 #16 Share Posted November 15, 2013 Very artificial with artificial zero calorie sweeteners. They say that but I never saw any nutritional information on them. As a diabetic, I have to be sure of the carbs and calories so I declined the flavored waters. Sumisid Posted November 15, 2013 #17 Share Posted November 15, 2013 The waiters told us that the flavor-enhanced waters on Oasis (and probably also on the other ships) are sweetened with Stevia. Stevia is not artificial, it's a plant. I love the strawberry-kiwi and also the mango-water.
