Hi, are any of the specialty restaurants or the main dining room open on embarkation day or is it just the Windjammer?

Anyone know the details of the specialty restaurant packages (price, etc) that are on sale on embarkation day? Are the packages available on short (4 or 5 night) cruises?

We were on Mariner last year and there were no specialty dining packages at that time. Embarkation day is always a zoo in the WJ, you can take your tray in to Giovanni's or sometimes into chops to find a table. They also have great sandwich's at the promenade café. While on your cruise don't pass up the salad bar in the MDR at lunch, it's the best made to order salad at sea. happy cruising
