Your reminder that the big cruise ship parade starts today at 4:00 PM EST today in Port Everglades, Florida.

 

Quite a few cruise ships in port and several are scheduled at the same time. You can also change ports and watch the MS Eurodam Sail-Away from Key West at approx. 5:00 PM.

 

Check port schedule for time changes.

What's with the weather this week in the "Sunshine State"?

 

Rather overcast with a big raindrop on camera #2. Thirty per cent chance of rain. Sunny though here in NW Florida. It's a big state. Would take 8-9 hours to drive to Port Everglades from our Florida home.

 

We had a cold front come through our area this week and temps got below freezing. Port Everglades may be feeling the remnants of the front.

I'll try to be around if the Miami cruise terminal has wifi. My sailaway isn't until 9PM. It's been a fairly decent day in South Florida. We had a very cloudy morning and a few drops around 10 but quite a decent day so far., Not much interest in the Freedom or Crown, after playing tag with them for 2 days I've seen enough of them.

Roy, we can only see the tip of your bow on the Port of Miami webcam. Maybe Lou and Dave will swivel it a bit! I'll probably be able to watch your departure if it is on time, in the dark!

Westerdam has indeed changed schedule per Port Schedule to 3:45.
