New to FLL Airport

Since I will not be able to carry wine on the plane, is there a store nearby where I can purchase wine to put in my carry on. My luggage will be transferred to the ship. thank you in advance.:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Along S.E. 17th Street next to the Pier there is, CVS, Total Wine, and Walgreens. You can stop at any of them for wine.

Total Wine on Cordova Rd. FLL - you can order online & they will have it ready to pick-up.

Total Wine and More also has the advantage of being next to a Publix supermarket should you need anything there.

Thank you for all info. Now, I just have to find out how to get from the airport to the store and than to the pier. I hope the taxi will stop at both destinations.

Since the meter will be running, the taxi driver will be very happy to take you anywhere you want.

The taxi will be happy to take you to both locations. It will not be a strange request! The FLL airport is about 6 miles from Port Everglades. If you are arriving on a Sunday, watch out for the FL liquor laws. Alcohol cannot be purchased on Sunday before noon.

UH OOOO We are flying on a Sun. Thanks for the info. I hope that will be my biggest problem for the cruise. :(:(:(:(

The ft lauderdale airport is about two miles from port everglades.

If you are on a high deck on a ship, you can clearly see the control

tower at fll.

 

Goggle says 3.5mile driving distance. Try:

 

FLL Terminal: 100 Terminal Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Princess, Berth 2: 1801 se 20th st Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309

 

Whether you can buy alcohol before noon on Sunday varies

by city. Cities such as Boca Raton and Delray Beach allow

purchase beginning at 7:00am.

I believe Ft. Lauderdale is still noon, but I'm not sure about

Hollywood, Dania Beach, and other nearby towns.

Crown Wine and Spirits (on Cordova Rd just down the street from Total Wine and Publix) website says they open at 11:00 am on Sundays.
