Where does HAL dock in KEY WEST?

I understand there are 3 cruise docks in KEY WEST...anyone know where HAL ties up?

When we were going to be going to KW, I googled the port and found a schedule that showed which ships were in port on the day we'd be there, and where we'd dock.

You are fortunate to be at pier B -- it is not too bad of a walk to get to Mallory Square and into town.

The Outer Mole (*****)

Truman Waterfront is US Navy property. So, access to this area is restricted and requires all cruise passengers to go through a security checkpoint. To make things go smoother make sure to have your ID and cruise card at the ready. This is the closest dock to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. Historic Tours of America provides free transportation service to and from the cruise ship; this is the only way to get back to the Outer Mole. Shuttles run approximately every 10 minutes.

We have docked many times at the ***** over the years.

On Nov 9 -- it was a disaster for immigration and tours. We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam that day.

The Regata being a small ship got to dock at Mallory Square and the Disney Magic got had pier B.

Just on the Eurodam last week and we were lucky to be at dock B. A very short walk and right in town!!

Docking at the ***** can be a hassle for anyone in a wheelchair/scooter, as an accessible trolley has to be requested.

Same thing for going back to the ship. We had to wait while 2-3 trolleys loaded, before an accessible one came along.

I watched from our verandah and we saw only 1 or 2 special trollies for the wheelchair and scooter people. I timed how long it took for one man to wait for the special trolley just to go into town -- 45 minutes.

With the lines so long and my having to use a walker/rollator, we decided to just stay on the ship.

You are right -- many times we were told that we would dock at Mallory Square and then ended up at *****.

We're in Key West ,today and we're at the Navy dock.

HAL is supplying free shuttles to downtown(about a 7 minute ride)
