Fort Lauderdale Airport Liquor

We will be arriving around 10am the day of our cruise. Is there anywhere in the airport that we can buy wine and liquor? Liquor stores on the way to the port?

There are no liquor stores in the airport or on the way to Port Everglades from FLL. Most people take a taxi to Total Wine & Liquor in SE 17th St, which requires going out of the way, but it is nice and close to the north port entrance. If you are traveling on a Sunday, you will need to wait until noon to make your purchase.

You can order on-line through the TW web site; your purchase will be waiting for you to pay and pick-up, saving you some time and cab fare.

Publix Supermarkets also have a decent selection of wines available. Their closest store to Port Everglades is located on 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale. If I were you I would have the taxi driver stop at Total Wine. They have an outstanding selection of wines and too save time you can place your order online and it will be waiting for you when you arrive. The store is located very close to Port Everglades and isn't out of the way. I can easily spend an hour or so walking the aisles in that store. The staff is very helpful if you have any questions.

Total Wine also sells soda or there is a Publix grocery store very close by.
