Welari Posted December 1, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2013 Sounds like you have a virus/malware problem. Download, for free, the following two programs. 1. Malwarebytes 2. SuperAntiSpyware Run each program and your problem should be resolved. Good luck.

ScriptOhio Posted December 2, 2013 #8 Share Posted December 2, 2013 Just sayin': It could be more than just activating the "block pop ups" on your browser. There are pop up viruses. I had one that caused pop-up ads and highlighted words, etc. Fortunately I identified the name of it, found it in my program listing, and "uninstalled" it. I have no idea how it got installed in the first place.

Esri Posted December 4, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 4, 2013 As mentioned above, make sure you have the pop-up blocker in your browser turned on. If you do have your pop-up blocker on, and you still see pop-ups, you have malware on your computer. You need an up-to-date antivirus and spyware cleaner. Those mentioned above are good. I prefer to pay McAfee an annual fee to keep all my computers secured with antivirus, firewall, internet security features,etc.., but to each his own.
