Heres an unusual bridge cam shot I came across this evening. Adonia at Seville in Spain. I knew cruise ships visited ports on the coast and did tours to Seville , but I did not realise that ships could cruise up the river , or canal and actually get to the City. Perhaps they wanted to visit the Barber of Seville?:D

Adonia is a small ship , the same as Pacific and Ocean Princess. I guess she can get where the big ones cannot.

Yes, we have a fleet of cruise ships heading to Australia for the season. Most are travelling straight across the Pacific but some are coming from the north.:D

Last night you could watch the tenders arriving at the wharf and the 3,000 passengers going ashore.

(probably more than live in Lerwick)

I remember reading a review of a cruise ship visit the Lerwick. The writer had been before and did not go ashore as she had seen the bright lights of Lerwick and watched them change from Green to Amber ,to Red, back to Amber and then Green again.

I think Lerwick only has the 1 set of traffic lights.

There is certainly seems to be more sights outside of town to see than what is in the town itself.:D
