We were on Oasis in October and he was not there.

Two weeks ago on Oasis, Sean Bernardi was Edna.

Have seen him twice. Liked him in the role a lot. Liked him at the special show in the VCL, too.

I am sure most of the Ednas are good in their own way.

 

I was fortunate enough to see Harvey Feirstein (sp) in the original on Broadway. He was THE Edna.

 

After the performance all the cast got on stage and they did a little auction of autographs and some props for Boradway Cares (an AIDS charity that was started by Broadway performers and workers)

 

He had the place rolling in the aisles *LOL*

I don't know who played Edna on the December 7-14 sailing but he was very good.

We talked to him during our June sailing. They do 7 month tours and he was scheduled to finish his tour sometime in September. So he won't be back on board until April at the earliest (if he joins that cast).

We were on the Oasis in September for his last week. He gave a farewell show in the VCL along with the actress who played the best friend of Tracy. She also was leaving along with her husband who was the drummer in the theater band.

 

We thought he was very good and don't understand the animosity towards him.
