Parents are onboard. Just sent a message saying exactly what we've heard. Captain just announced that they may be departing as late as 7 pm due to passengers having trouble flying into FLL.

Question for the experts .... What are the chances the captain will blow the horn as we leave FLL at 7-7:30 ?? I gotta say we love to hear the toots and will be alittle bummed if we miss it here on the Noordam due to our late departure .

OK-Just rebooked our Auckland cruise and was able to get Above & Beyond OBC along with Future cruise credit. Above and Beyond worked for us thanks to our wonderful PCC.

And your PCC didn't have to cancel your original booking first...then re-book for the promo?

Yes, she cancelled booking and rebooked for same price. Checked on a couple of other bookings, if we had rebooked the price was higher than we had originally paid. Edited January 6, 2014 by aliaschief

:D I was so glad when they turned the mic on for the toots.... and then the Silver Spirit delivered with some very nice toots indeed.
Hopefully the same will happen with the Noordam when she gets underway.
