Hello all!

My fiancé and I will be going on our first cruise in 50 short days (which means we will be married in 48 days, CRAZY!!) I am in my early twenties and my future husband is 30. We both like to stay out late (2 or later) when we are vacationing. Is there a good night life on RCI ships. (We will be traveling on liberty of the seas). Just looking for suggestions of what places we should go and how late we can expect to stay out. We love to have drinks, relax, chat with good friends and new company. I love to dance and can get the fiancé out on the floor as well!! How late do the bars stay open and which should be try (it's a 5 night cruise BTW).

We just want to make sure we can get the most out of our trip and have a great time. THANKS!

It will totally depend on the passenger mix on your particular sailing! Sometimes, the ship will have a late-night crowd....other times, it's "early to bed"....

If you find your sailing doesn't have as many late night partiers as you'd like, get to know your tablemates, and ask them to join you!

Thanks all! We are on the libert of the seas in early march. It is many students spring break (university and Canadian secondary schools) so I'm thinking there will be a large variety of families and young college singles on spring break. I just graduated and my fiancé and I both work in post-secondary schools so we are pretty used to a college crowd. I just wanted to make sure we can have a good few late nights out!

What is the night club like?? You better believe I will be there every night if it means dancing all night! Haha!!

on our last cruise Serenade of the Seas in the Med. I think the area was called the Votex and they had 'dance music' starting around 11pm. I ventured up one night just to see and they had a very active young crowd. Som during spring break I would think you would have no problem partying until 2 or 3 am.

My husband and I love the Sky Bar until 10 pm. I don't wanna sit in some bar inside. I want to see the sea and be outside in the beautiful weather. Plus sometimes they have movies playing and music videos on the big screen. Then after 10 when the Sky Bar closes we head to the night club or the Latin Bar ( that is always bumping!!!1 Always tons of people dancing on every cruise Ive been on) We almost always end our night getting a drink from the VC or Casino Bar and then a bucket of beers to go. Then we walk the outdoor promenade deck and sit at the helicopter pad and chk out the stars before bed.

We get a wide variety of everything that way...calm, fun conversation at the sky bar with beautiful views, dancing at the Latin bar or night club or VC and some gambling action then our wind down stroll!!! Oh and um Café Promenade for Sorrentos at 3 or 4 am..LOL

OH DO NOT MISS the deck party - its the best night of the cruise

The club is called the Catacombs and will have various themes through the week. Super fun, cool 'dungeon-like' decor, and good music. I was there past 2AM many nights on the Liberty. Seating available, good dance floor, 2nd floor bar/observation area. One night the had a SILENT party where everyone got headphones playing the music (2 different channels) and people would dance to it. Weird concept and weird to unknowing observers.....but entertaining! Also Olive or Twist martini bar if that's your late night preference.

You'll find plenty of fun to be had!!

I would DIE if we had a silent night! That sounds too funny and so much fun!! I'm so excited for this! I was a little worried the night life wouldn't be too exciting and we would call it a night early every evening. Glad to hear that's not the case!

CAN'T WAIT!!

We took our wedding cruise in March on Liberty in 2011... Eight night cruise and every. Single. Night didn't get back into our cabin until 3AM+. One night we met a large group of couples and family and we partied with them all night then we all went to the overhanging hot tubs and were there until sunrise drinking and having a great time. I have great memories! (We prob won't ever sail outside of march afain bc the other 7 cruises we have taken seen to have had an older crowd that didn't want to party lol)

It does really depend on your ship mates. We have been on some cruises if you went to bed before 2AM you were going to miss a lot and others were almost everyone was in bed by 1AM. Go and make your own fun if you have to.

We go to the disco on several cruise lines.,...dance till 3 am easy....as long as there are dancing, drinking patrons, the music doesn't stop!

On your daily paper , it will say, disco...vortex....open till LATE....no time printed....so dance till the wee hours....then get room service late breakfast! Free.
