Oh Oh we take this excursion next week and a huge rockslide of granite 15 M high blocked road to the ruins. "Tourists will have to ascend the hiker’s trail to reach the ruins. The municipality said to help visitors, additional support staff and medical tents would be set up along the foot route, which normally takes 1¾ to 2½ hours to walk." Hope it is cleared by nxt wk!

Wow! Wish we were there now - that would make for fewer crowds! Wouldn't it be great to be stuck in the Sanctuary Lodge for a few days? Until, of course, they ran out of supplies...

Hope your tour goes as planned. Sounds like they have it under control, and should have it cleared out in time - but of course, repairs tend to take longer there...

i see the road is partially open now after 1 wk and 85 laborers removing rock!. You still have to get off the buses and walk around the rock piles and then get on buses on the other side for the rest of the way to MP. a bit scarey!
