I want to board the moment the ship arrives

I want to be able to board the ship at 6:00 AM or the moment the ship has been cleared by Customs. the ship must be EMPTY of all other pax before they can close out the system and begin processing the next batch. It would be so cool to enjoy breakfast on Embarkation Day onboard and use the full day that we paid for. technically you pay for nights onboard, not full days. just like a regular hotel. In fact it would be cool if the ship leaves the debarkation port in the afternoon to stay onboard until the last possible second. and this deprice the crew of the time and ability to get ready for the nwxt group who are just as eager as you were to get on ASAP.

 

How can we do this? Our luggage would just be loaded with the rest of the luggage. Would be cool to have our SeaPasses ready to go and all we need to do is head right through security and board early. take a back to back cruise. the second leg you can pretty do everything you list above.

 

Would be cool to see the crew get the ship ready for the next cruise, go down to the I95 where they load the food and supplies for the ship. and be in the way? I don't think so, they are stressed enough as it is, wo wants to make it evebn more of a PIT for them?

 

I would love the behind the scenes tour of the Bridge watching them getting it ready for the next sailing, going down to the kitchen and seeing how they get ready etc. again oh hell no. can we say security issues?! spend the money on the all access your if you want to see the inner workings.

 

Would you as a Cruise Critic Addict love to board the ship the first thing in the morning on embarkation day and enjoy breakfast in the Windjammer? absolutely NOT

 

completely unfair all around. I don't want to be rushed to get to the ship. I want a few minutes to sit and relax and build up anticipation. and I sure as hell don't want to be shoved off the ship before the sun rises just so you can get on board that much faster.

Just get married onboard the ship! We had to be at the terminal @ 8:50 a.m. We were onboard immediately after being escorted in by the wedding planner provided by RCCL. Went straight to our rooms to prepare for the wedding. Guests were told to go to Windjammer for breakfast until ceremony time! Works for us!!:)

The reality of your dire situation is that you probably won't be able to get onto the ship until 11 am or after. Earliest I've ever gotten on board any ship is about 1130. Breakfast? Not happening. Lunch can be at at the Windjammer at noon or, depending on which ship you are on, other dining venues. Bon voyage.

Yes of course I'm aware of a B2B but in the event we could have a VIP Early Morning Boarding Program that would be cool.

 

Hotels let you check in early but then again they are not a cruise ship:D:D

So do I, which means that if you are on the ship that is coming in and I am getting read to board it, you have to get off immediately, so I can have my turn and board it at 6AM. :p

 

So do you think you will be up, dressed, packed and ready to get off the ship at 5:30 AM so we can have our turn at an extra early boarding.

IMHO you did not pay for that entire first day so you are not missing out on something you paid for. When you booked the cruise the time for boarding was listed and it sure was not 6:00 am.

Going on the Allure of the Seas on March 2, 2014. No passengers on prior week as they will be fixing bearing issue and will drydock the prior week. My guess is that they will allow us to get on early as no passengers to exit that week. I can hope anyway!
