Rare LHT28 Posted February 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2014 I did not know you could just go & order a glass of wine in La Reserve I thought you had to buy the whole meal package ? I never noticed a bartender in there Will check next cruise Lyn
Travelcat2 Posted February 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2014 While I am not surprised to see an award for Le Reserve (they definitely deserve it), I do not consider Le Reserve a "wine bar". As previously asked, can passengers visit Le Reserve during certain times to order (and pay for) upper level wines?
Rare RachelG Posted February 16, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2014 La reserve was only open for the set wine dinners ( at an extra charge and with reservation) and some per reserved wine tastings on our recent cruise. You definitely could not just walk in and order a glass of wine. If you could have, I would have been all over that.
pacheco18 Posted February 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2014 Funny Cellar Masters (which I erroneously called the Wine Cellar) on the Celebrity Solstice ships is number 2. I just posted about it on another thread. That truly is a wine bar -- the kind of venue I would expect to see on O. I did not think you could go to La Reserve to get a drink either.
