Only connecting cabins? Adventure of the Seas

Looking to book a November/October AoS cruise.... all available cabins are connecting cabins, it seems. When I search for another cabin, only the same, deck 6, connecting cabins show.

Does that really mean they're all out of non-connecting cabins, so soon?

If so... I don't want my neighbors just barging in....

We had a connecting room on our last cruise. There was a young couple with a young, probably two year old, toddler in the room beside us.. We definitely got noise transfer through the door, that didn't come through the wall.

With that said, it didn't bother us. Most of the noise (kid crying, baby talk by the mom, playing games with the kid) was during normal awake time for us. We didn't hear a peep at night. I suspect it could be a different story with different neighbors though.

That cannot happen. To add to phoenix1181, there are two separate doors between the rooms, both of which unlock and open from the inside of each room and cannot be opened from the other room. And along with consent of both stateroom's passengers, they need to be unlocked by the stateroom attendant.

Nose has never been an issue on the occasion where we had a connecting room.

If you do hear noises, stuff a towel under the door....it really helps! I've never had noise issues on a ship with connecting doors, but I have in hotels...and a towel HELPS!

If you don't need the connecting door, it stays locked...it's not an issue.

The only thing that I see that is what you describe is D1 on October 26. There are lots of other balcony cabins available that are non-connecting.

If you could be more specific, I could be more helpful.
