Balcony cabin on Aloha Deck on Golden Princess...any thought?

We got assigned a midship balcony on the aloha deck aboard the golden princess for our alaska june 14, 2014 cruise.

 

Good? Bad?

It's an OK location that I would be satisfied with, if it was me going on that cruise!

The Aloha deck balcony on the Golden is covered and quiet as its between to decks of cabins.

Thank you!! This is out first time on Princess and first time with a balcony (honeymoon in Alaska so we splurged).

 

So this should be a covered balcony? I saw on the deck plans the pool is on top. Should we expect noise from above.

We were in an Aloha midship cabin on the Golden on our Alaska cruise and it was good location. Pretty much any balcony cabin on an Alaska cruise is good :)

It's okay. Midship is always good, but I much prefer the Caribe Deck balconies because they're a lot bigger and are 1/2 covered and 1/2 uncovered.

 

Your Aloha Deck balcony could be good for AK if you get a lot of rain because it's fully covered.
