So, What have you NOT done on a cruise?

I'm proud to announce that never once, whilst on a cruise, have I shaved my legs in the teeny tiny shower whilst doing almost acrobatics to achieve same ... and then complaining on CC about the difficulty of shaving one's legs in the shower on a cruise ship.

 

(I always have my legs professionally waxed a couple of days before embarkation ... a no brainer really!) :rolleyes:

Interesting read! Never buying art my main one, sailing single always, I'll never be in a top end cabin and I would never use a hot tub, anywhere at any time. I'll spare you the details of why!!! :)

Magicians' shows. I have a real dislike for magicians. Don't ask me why. I guess since I know they are tricking me, what's the point of being amazed? I don't go to the shows, and I figure I'm making room for someone who wants to be there. (So far, there have been no mimes on Princess. Don't get me started on those.)

 

I dislike magicians too! For some reason they creep me out! So with that said, I've never seen any of the magicians and the only show I go to is the hypnotist!

 

Oh and I've never set foot in the spa.

I have never:

 

Done the Chef's Table

Done the Ultimate Ship's Tour (may do this one day, but 4 hrs. is a big chunk of my cruise to dedicate to this!)

Done the wine tasting

Gone to any of the spa and/or salon's free seminars

Played Mahjong

Sang in the Princess Pop Choir

Ran around the outside track

Vacuumed my cabin (although I've been tempted several times to ask the steward if I can - I find I miss some housework while at sea!)

How is that possible? I don't miss it at home, let alone on vacation. :) I would be perfectly content to never use a vacuum again.

Have never agreed to share a table with anyone.

If necessary we will take a beeper and wait as long as it takes.

We stay with Princess because for us it is "The Love Boat", and after 38 years of marriage, 28 cruises and 300 days at sea, dinner is always a highlight of the day- when we want to just have our special time.

And I have never gained! I always come home a couple pounds lighter but seem to find it quickly upon return!

Never bought a foo foo drink. Never a trivia game, no bingo or art auctions. And here is the big one, we have never, never used the loungers around the pools or been in the hot tubs. I'm not getting in that crock pot of nasty water for anything, including a free cruise.

Haven't drank any coffee at international café (don't drink coffee much)

Never won the treasure hunt raffle

Never ordered just "1" lobster tail ;)

Never sang karaoke onboard

Never been late back to the ship (knock on wood or next best thing my head)

On Princess I have not:

 

Consumed even a calorie for lunch or dinner in a sit-down dining room.

 

No sex, drugs, or rock n roll. Kinda!

 

Worn a tuxedo.

 

Used the pool or hot tub, or sunbathed.

 

Purchased a photo or willingly been photographed, except on the UST. Purchased anything at an art auction (attend out of amusement now and then).

 

Used the spa or gym (though I am a regular walker, I prefer to do it on deck).

 

Been keelhauled.

We've been on 5 Princess cruises and I've never been to MUTS at night. Just too many other things to do I guess.

 

This is on our "bucket list" too. Just too many other things going on to this point on our previous cruises. Maybe on this next cruise.....

Agree on the art show. Have only attended them to drink the champagne! Disagree on the bingo....won $800 on the last cruise which is partially financing the next! :) :)

We don't go to the shows, trivia, theater, lectures, library, pool or spa, art auction, bars unless with friends. I also don't do laundry. DH will but I won't. :D I've never been to the sanctuary or done Chef's Table but might on a future cruise. We basically enjoy reading on our balcony, walking around the deck, meeting people, going to a specialty restaurant from time to time, going to bingo from time to time, exploring the boutiques, gazing at the wake.

Tossed quarters in the Champgne fountain

Drawn a Mustaches on any of the Art

Sat long enough at the bar

Paid for a round of drinks for the entire ship

Cruised to the edge of the earth

Forgotten where my room was LOL

Missed the ship
