hehny Posted March 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) Of course she can enter the casino or walk through the entertainment areas. However, she will not be allowed to gamble. Edited March 23, 2014 by hehny
sueandkent Posted March 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2014 my daughter is 16. will she be allowed to enter all entertainment/leisure areas on the princess? for example the casino. Just off the CB yesterday, under 21 were not allowed to "hang" around the casino. That means, you could walk through but they couldn't stand around with you while you gamble. Security kept families and younger folk moving along. Underage were welcome everywhere else except Skywalkers after I think 10pm when you had to be 18 to enter. Keep in mind that if she should play the slots and win-the cruise line will not pay off.

DrivesLikeMario Posted March 23, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 23, 2014 She'll be allowed to go to shows with you, play trivia and do things like that but obviously, can't sit down or even stand behind you in the casino for any length of time or rent a chaise in The Sanctuary. She can work out in the gym, do some spa treatments, go to the library, and do all the teen program things.
OCruisers Posted March 23, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 23, 2014 Adult pools and the Sanctuary are for 18 and over. Thanks! Someone on a Roll Call ask and I honestly couldn't remember. The OP here might also want to know. LuLu ~~~
dread_pirate Posted March 24, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 24, 2014 There are sometimes shows that are 18 and over, and they do their best to police those as well.

ar1950 Posted March 24, 2014 #12 Share Posted March 24, 2014 Keep in mind that if she should play the slots and win-the cruise line will not pay off. LOL, just like Las Vegas. One year we had a family reunion in Las Vegas. While walking through the casino my nephew saw a quarter on the floor and grabbed it and stuck it in a slot machine. Yeah, you guessed it. He won. My sister, seeing what had happened, quickly went back to the machine, took all of the quarters and started putting them back in the machine until she had lost all of the winnings. She was really worried that there would be trouble if they kept the winnings. It was too funny to see it (although, personally, I would have taken the money and kept on walking just to see if I would have been stopped :)). Have fun on the cruise. There is plenty for a 16 year old to do and no problems just passing through venues meant for adults.

LewesBeach Posted March 24, 2014 #14 Share Posted March 24, 2014 I have never seen a show age restricted on Princess. There was an "Adults Only" comedian on the Ruby in Feb. First time I ever saw that. I didn't go, but heard a lot of people say they walked out. Never saw it advertised again.

They made suggestions about age appropriate but they did not stop anyone from coming in. Its up to the comic to have the show or not.
