Make sure to move your curser over the bottom of each video and click on the settings wheel so that you can adjust the settings to HD. The videos look much better in HD. :)

Aw darn. Won't play on my iPad.

Will have to watch at work tmrw.

Thanks chesneygirl....love your videos :):)

Cool. Now I don't have to take a cruise to Alaska!

Quite majestic :)

I can say, oh I've been to Tracy Arm and Sawyer Glacier, sure!

How long did it actually take to go through it?

I was going to ask about wildlife, then saw the seals at the end.

Somehow I thought it there would be a lot more snow.

Thanks for sharing.

It was about 4 or 5 hours if I recall correctly. We woke up, looked out the aft balcony and we were in it.

There wasn't much wildlife there, beyond the sea lions. But as one tour guide explained, the wildlife didn't book the trip. :) Not too much snow that late in the season; September. It had all melted by then.

Another shameless plug for my full review if you're interested. Me and sdmike seem to have no problem plugging our Alaska trips...

What video camera did you use?

Thanks for watching! :)

As for what camera do I use, I primarily use the Canon T3i with a couple of different lenses. I also use the GoPro for some of the footage but its not my preferred camera to use unless there's water involved.

I wasn't able to watch a couple of the videos because of copyright issues in my country, according to YouTube. But I was able to watch the Dawn Bermuda July 2012 video, and I agree with the others, it was great. I left Boston on Carnival Glory last summer, so the beginning reminded me of that.

BTW How did you get the footage of the ship sailing at the end? Weren't you on it? :)

Sent from my Asus Fonepad using the Cruise Critic Forums app.

I used some footage from a video that I had put together (prior to our July cruise) showing the Dawn's first Bermuda run of the season from Boston. See Video below. :)
