iminholidaymodeya Posted April 26, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted April 26, 2014 Canaster has many different rules it depends on who you play with, it can be played individually, or in pairs. 6 people can play.
SwissDave Posted April 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2014 Games can usually be borrowed from either the library (on some ships), or are available in a section of the casino (on other ships).

skynight Posted April 26, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 26, 2014 I love playing scrabble and canasta are these played in the games room. Most Princess ships do not have a dedicated game room or area. A few do. Most Cruise Directors reserve an area of a dining room or other area for some hours each day for cards and games. My experience is that these sessions are not hosted or organized. So, the playing of games and cards is dependent on the passengers and each cruise is different. CD's on Australian based cruises may differ their policies on this. One way for you to organize games or cards is through the Roll Call for your voyage. There you may find other passengers that have the same interest. capriccio Posted April 26, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 26, 2014 I've seen staff setting up a table of games in Sabatinis after the suite breakfast. Makes sense because they don't serve lunch so it is available until mid afternoon at least. What a nice setting!
paul929207 Posted April 26, 2014 #9 Share Posted April 26, 2014 Usually, in the library or card room there will be a binder where you can look for others to play games with. You can either look for others already on the list and contact them, or add your name to the list.
Pia1913 Posted April 26, 2014 #10 Share Posted April 26, 2014 I love playing scrabble and canaster are these played in the games room. I think you ought to ask this on the Aida board which would be more ship specific than inquiring on the Princess board.
