Preferrered agents

I've been reading that the preferred agents sometimes have better fares. Does anyone know who they are? Im looking at a 23 grand adventure on the Caribbean Princess in 2015 sailing Norway Iceland and TA. The princess website shows some categories already sold out, but I'm thinking the agents can still offer them as guarantees.

It is against the rules of Cruise Critic to ask the names of travel agents or to recommend agents.

Gotta shop those large online agencies with "CRUISE" in their title .

Although they can't advertise lower than what PCL is offering , they can discount PCL rates when they quote .

The agencies/agents listed on the PCL got there by PCL online training achieving Commodore status.

That indicates product knowledge but not always the better rates if they don't discount or offer speculative group space on your sailing.

It's a misconception that the best pricing is with a large online agency as that's just not true. Your best bet is to ask around while onboard for recommendations.

The word "cruise" in the title means nothing; just as Pam stated. I use 3 different bookers and none of them us the word cruise.

Having worked as a TA for many years for 1 of the first & largest agencies with Cruise in the title ,

our main competitors in terms of volume , all had , and still have ,Cruise in their title .

When an agency supports cruise lines with cruise bookings vs their competition ( land vac, Los Vegas , WDW , ect )

Not so much other cruise lines .

There are perks for doing so .

Yes ask experienced fellow passengers onboard about how they book .

Since the Grand adventure is a B2B, some cabins are set up to be allowed to be booked only for the B2B and the rest allowed to be booked only as individual segments.

 

Check the categories under the individual segments and you may find plenty of space still available.
