Then I went on the lookout for some dessert, nothing caught my eye.

I started walking back to the room while enjoying my ice cream. In the room I took advantage of the early bag delivery, changed myself and headed to the lanai jacuzzi.

The first one I stopped by was closed.

I enjoyed myself there for some time, but the sun was beating down on me, so I decided to relax under the shade for a little while.

Time flew by, because next thing I was hearing that it was time to head to Muster. So I grabbed my stuff and headed up to the room to get changed.

Once in the room I also posted my door decoration which was made by a fellow CC member :), thank you. As you can see I am not very good with tape, something tells me if mom was there, that would had looked like it was built into the door :D.

Ok, thats about it for now. Will be back with more when I find time to work on it. Hope everyone is enjoying it so far.

Of all the people that do reviews on CC (Radio, Trainman, etc), these are the best.

Well thank you, that is quite a compliment, humbled :o

Happy to see another Gambee review coming! We are sailing the Breakaway later this year and really enjoyed that review. Sailed Silhouette last year. Starting to feel like we take the same cruises. ;)

I really enjoyed my first solo earlier this year but my life circumstances are different. I have three teens and a DH so I need to recharge by myself occasionally. Looking forward to reading your thoughts.

No need to reply, I'll wait for day 2. :D

Now you made me laugh :D, lol.

LOVE LOVE the revue. I am especially interested in how you edited some of your photos to have that 'cartoonish' look to them while still being able to tell exactly what it is? What did you use to do that? BTW your photos are amazing. I've sailed the Breeze twice and love reminiscing.

Awesome review! I have sailed once before on the Breeze and will be on her again this December, both solo. With so much to do on this ship, there were some things I didn't get to do last time.

Glad to hear the steam room and sauna are free. How do you go about accessing these? Ask at the spa front desk?

Gambee!

Love the review so far, looking for your text since the pictures - as awesome as they are- are familiar to me. The Breeze is one of my favorite ships! We have booked spa cabins on both past cruises and for next Spring Break. Having the spa privileges (and getting the free scrubs that you might enjoy) are worth it for us!!! The scrubs were made for us when we checking in on embarkation. They are free for the spa cabins, maybe that's why you never saw anyone making them - if you were there after the first day. Looking forward to the rest of your review!

p.s. so can I ask the price of your Sony smaller camera? Could be a good choice for our upcoming Baltic cruise….. you can say no, I know its kind of a personal question...

I cannot tell you how EXCITED I am to you see you doing your first review on the Carnival boards:D:D

I have read all of your other reviews, and you are, BY FAR, the best reviewer, at least that I've read.

Cannot wait for more!!!!

Dying to know what you thought of the Breeze!!!!!

Thanks for taking the time to do this.:D

Loving the review, only 92 days until I sail on the. Breeze, just made my final payment, so I hope you have a strong positive ending.

I too have a Spa cabin booked and I didn't know you got free scrubs, so thank you for the person who posted that info.:D

Keep it coming when you can. I am going to post a link to my cruise buddies.

I absolutely LOVE Gambee's reviews. This will be our second Breeze cruise and I definitely plan on taking advantage of some of the things I missed before. Just paid off the balance today & I am hoping for some (miraculous) price drops for some more OBCs :)

Thanks for another great review, Gambee! I studied your amazing Allure review before our cruise and am now looking forward to your Breeze review! I'll be sailing on her for the second time over Halloween, so I need to see what I missed the last time! Thanks again!

A few of the CC members had slightly different experiences than mine, but no one really complained about it. Well there was one case with a dirty dress, I am not sure how that end up, but Carnival was having a hard time getting a stain that was accidentally done by their staff.

It was a bit of a hassle to keep going down there and Katie had one guy that was a bit of a jerk to her, but they eventually did the right thing and paid for our dresses when they couldn't get them clean. It could have beem handled more efficiently but overall, they handled the issue pretty well.

He placed a link in the camera section in the beginning of the review:

Love seeing the Breeze through your eyes Gambee! Its my favorite Carnival ship and pretty much the only one I would sail as of now. Great job so far and looking forward to more :D

When you go to the spa the first day to get your "bands" they will also give you a silk bag with two scrubs and two loofahs. Last month on the Sunshine we also had a spa cabin and had the same experience. Our scrubs were Chocolate mint I think and Vanilla Jasmine. Both smelled great and did not sting. These are to be used either in your cabin or in the spa area. I'd recommend using the special showers there - it makes for a very nice treatment! Enjoy the Breeze and your spa cabin!

Gambee, just an FYI for you since you're so good at giving us info and you're new to Carnival. Typically they do the Dog and Pony Show in the spa on the first day. I've never been on the Breeze but the other eight Carnival sailings I've done have all been escorted sales demos on day one. You got lucky!

I thought the same thing about the eight heated loungers in the spa when I was on Sunshine. They were never full. I was usually in there by myself or with just one or two others.

Excuse me while I go do a price check on Breeze cruises...

I guess all experiences are different, but from what I gathered on our cruise, it was just not. Maybe if I arriving late to port I would considered, but I have had a hard time trying to justify extra expenses as such.

Also guest service was very fast in this cruise, and just a pleasure to deal with. More on that later. I dont think I will ever purchase it, well at least for now. If things change in the future, then I would consider it.

Either way it is not like Carnival is having a hard time selling these. In our cruise they sold out months ahead of our sailing, and everyone rates it 5 stars.

So I guess its just my opinion vs thousands of others :D

Thanks for your input, it is greatly appreciated.

Gambee thanks again for another great review and i agree with you 1000% fttf is a waste of $50 because like you we boarded 5 min after fttf.
