Aft Facing Balconies on Explorer

Hi everyone,

 

We are booked in a aft-facing balcony cabin on Explorer Of The Seas next Feb 12th. Can anyone tell me if the balconies are larger than side cabins? The brochure makes them appear a bit bigger. If anyone can furnish a photo of a cabin or the rear of a Voyager class ship it would be great.

Yes, the balconies are larger on aft facing staterooms on Explorer.

The aft balconies are generally much larger. Deck 6 is the least desirable.

Yes..they are deeper. Because of the superstructure of the ship, you won't have a straight down view of the water, tho. The higher the deck, the less superstructure to look past.

The balconies are indeed larger in that location.

Every time we sailed on Explorer, we have one of these balconies. People complain about the walk to the Aft or about the structure out the back. We dont think its that big of deal...
