Emtbsam Posted June 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2014 I just checked the Loyalty Statement for my Venetian Society account and although they show the most recent 10-day cruise that I took, they have not posted any "loyalty days" yet. When I inquired prior to the charter whether we would receive credit for the days on board, I was told by several people that we would. Does anyone have a suggestion as to the appropriate person to contact to get this corrected? Thanks.
duct tape Posted June 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2014 Interesting, we were told that the charter days did not count. Let me know what happens. Try Frank Sansone.
Rare Silver Spectre Posted June 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2014 Unless there has been a change in policy, loyalty days have been granted for charters in the past. I must admit our most recent one was nearly 5 years ago, but I cannot see any sensible reason why they should not be granted.
Observer Posted June 16, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2014 Might this not depend on the terms agreed between Silversea and whoever chartered the ship? I can imagine that with a corporate charter (recognizing high-flying insurance agents) there may be no loyalty days. But with other kinds of charters they would be. I can imagine that with a corporate charter (recognizing high-flying insurance agents) there may be no loyalty days. But with other kinds of charters they would be. That thought occurred to me. Since we all paid for our own trips on the WWII charter, it would seem appropriate that we should receive days. When I inquired about it during a previous cruise, I was told that we would receive days.
Emtbsam Posted June 16, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted June 16, 2014 Many thanks to Frank Sansone for a quick response. It is nice to know that people at Silversea corporate care as much as the staff on board.
