suebart112 Posted June 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2014 My family will be on the Explorer next month and we have the my time dining. There are 7 of us; 6 adults and 1 child. Are the chances any more or less likely that they will seat us with strangers (at a table for 8 or 10) with MTD? We are reaaaaallllllly hoping to have our own table. TIA

m32446 Posted June 18, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2014 If you ask for a table to yourselves, they'll give you one.

TIA We were a table for two and they asked us if we would sit at a table for six with other people. We did it but after that would only take a table for two. Other than the lady at the desk complaining the we didn't make a reservation we got the table for two. We did only go to the dining room two other nights and we went early. I think the only problem for you would be if they don't have any tables you may have to wait. Unless of course you make a reservation.
cruisnpat Posted June 18, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2014 Yes they should be able to give you a table for just your group. Enjoy your cruise.

Rare Peewee14 Posted June 18, 2014 #9 Share Posted June 18, 2014 We found if your willing to share a table, you could turn up anytime you liked and be seated straight away, if you specified a table for your party only and had not reserved you had to wait or come back later
akcruz Posted June 18, 2014 #10 Share Posted June 18, 2014 Especially with a party your size I would say you are pretty sure to have your own table.
m*u*g* Posted June 18, 2014 #11 Share Posted June 18, 2014 I love learning to speak another language during dinner. I also love being hit in the head with a hammer. Yo, Matr'd----yo, move me.
