Off site parking at miami

I am having trouble finding information about off site parking in Miami. Everything seems to be too old to be relevant.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions or recent experiences parking outside the Port of Miami?

Type in "off site parking for POM" in the forum search and you'll find the recent threads.;)

Parking at POM is covered, convenient and secure, but costs $20/day. :eek:

 

You can save some $$ by parking off-site, there are several "premier" and safe cruise parking sites" just to confuse you. Parking anywhere but POM will likely not be covered (one site lets you park under a freeway, so it is sort of covered), will not be as convenient (shuttle delays and no shows are a common complaint) and for sure will not be as secure. :(

It's most likely not worth it if you like your car. But if it's a clunker take the chance.

I agree, it costs more but you don't have to wait on a shuttle bus.

parking at the port may be an option on a short cruise but if you are going for a 7 or longer $20 a day is a lot. we used simpleairportparking.com you can park at a hotel near the airport and it cost around $5 or $6 a day. just grab a cab to the port for $30 and save a lot of $$$
