calex Posted August 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2014 My DW posed for this picture when we were exploring the ship on embarkation day. But we were unable to find it again until we were leaving the ship. What Norwegian ship were we on, and on what deck and near what public area was the picture taken? VideoTech Posted August 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2014 Has to be one of the southern ports (Miami, Galveston, etc) judging from the palm trees outside. Has to be the promenade deck, obviously, but couldn't give you the deck # without knowing the ship, and I'm at a loss for that.
redfantum Posted August 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2014 I guess the Sun, deck 6, by the photo gallery. (Colonel Mustard in the Library with a pipewrench)
rbrugler Posted August 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2014 Wow. You went on a cruise and do not remember what ship you were on? I'd stay away from the bars!!!
SissasMomE Posted August 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 6, 2014 That looks like one of the windows in O'Sheehan's on the Epic. I don't remember if they were round or square, but definitely big enough to sit in, with a ledge like that.
julie3fan Posted August 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 6, 2014 (edited) Maybe they do remember and are just testing our knowledge of the ships? Edited August 6, 2014 by julie3fan

The Spirit is the smallest then :D Actually, I was going by length... the site I first checked had these numbers. Just checked the NCL website and they list both the Sky and Sun at 848 feet. So confusing... Ship..Length..Tonnage Sky....848......77,104 Sun....853......78,309 Spirit..881......75,338 The ship is the SUN, but it was not taken near the Kids Club or the Photo Gallery. Yea - the kids club on the Sun is in the front of the ship and overlooks the bow - pretty good views from there.

But we were unable to find it again until we were leaving the ship. What Norwegian ship were we on, and on what deck and near what public area was the picture taken? This was aboard the Norwegian Sun on October 30, 2011 at Port Canaveral, Florida - it was taken on Deck 7 inside the Sun Club Casino before it opened for the cruise. Apparently, they close the curtains that cover these nice windows to keep it dark when the casino is open. When we got back into Port Canaveral, they reopened the curtains in the casino.
