Does Rccl still issue luggage tags?

Recommended Posts

On my last two Celebrity cruises they were still sending luggage tags until i sailed NCL last year. There was so much tape wrapped around the handles of my bags that I couldn't let go of them.I have to tip the porter anyway so i'll have them tag the bags Thanks John

Amazon dot com has nice luggage tag holders specifically for cruises. They fit the printed and folded ones just fine and you don't need to worry about the stapled ones staying on your suitcase. Plus, you get 6 or 8 for $12...

Yes, just got a pack of 8 from Amazon for $12 and they look good.

We cruised Jan 2011 and they mailed them to us, perhaps we got the last set?! It's really not a big deal to print them, I take packing tape with me and they are actually better the way I tape them up, need scissors to remove!

You more than likely had already booked that cruise...cruises "booked" on/after that date is when it went into affect.

At least now i can save on tape.I held back buying these tags for my last cruise but later realized all cruiselines are making the same changes along with adding extra fees. Thanks for convincing me to get them.

Ordered ours on line.

Then just shy of 3 days before we cruised we got an upsell.

Called RCI just told us to cross off cabin number and right new number on tag.

Still concerned at port, we asked the porter if he had new tags, and he goes mam, this is good.

Took our luggage, and tip.

2oclock no luggage

3oclock no luggage

4oclock no luggage

Our suite attendant went to the cabin that was on the tags before we crossed it out..............luggage there.

4:05 had our luggage.

Sea Ya

So be careful with last minute cabin changes.

I print them out and cover them with clear tape. I don't mind doing it. I can print as many as I want and it helps get me in the "cruise" mood!

Hey Geocruiser, are you a geocacher? Or perhaps you're George?!

No I am not either. My screen mane comes from two things.

1. I have a BS in geology

2. I love to cruise.

Therefore geocruiser.
