When my daughter was much younger, we often had lots of her "friends" with us on our cruises...and boy did the stateroom attendants have fun...like this particular day when we came back from a day ashore to find the friends taking in the view

Love it - we are now entering our half a century but still take Mr and Mrs T Bear with us (pictured on our name link photo on the balcony!)

Thanks to everyone for a fabulous thread and sharing some great memories. We had a land holiday this year and these made us miss the sea .... :)

Not Smoking..a good thing.

Not sinking the boat, a better thing.

I should have said, Thank you:)

The last time I did a crusie to Alaska was Sept 2009 so it has been

5 years. I forgot how much I loved it.....thinking about going in May

of 2015:D

Yes, you are brave, Lois. In all my cruises to Alaska, I've always wanted to do a float plane to the grizzle bears, but was always afraid of the small planes. Maybe the next time I go, I'll do it.

Many, many years ago I was in Broome, WA. About the only "attraction" was a trip to the airport to see the Japanese bullet holes in the hanger doors :D:D

Aaaah.... you must of missed the most famous attraction in Broome... riding the camels along Cable Beach ... fabulous

My Dad has been lucky enough to win a glass piece (a kind of bottle and a vase) on both of our Solstice sailings... (I have not been so lucky:()
