tabprincess Posted September 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2014 We are booked on a 14 day cruise on the Caribbean on 1-31-15. After the first 7 days, we go to Fort Lauderdale and then head out on a different itinerary for the next 7 days. It seems to me it's just like a BTB, but sold as a 14 day. My question is, does anyone know if they will re-stock the mini-bar after the first 7 days?
paul929207 Posted September 11, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Can the cruise be bought as two 7 day cruises? If so you will get a second setup. If it is only sold as a 14 day cruise you will only get one.
cruisingpeople Posted September 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) Even though it has been sold as a 14 day, IF you have a different booking number for the second itinerary, you should get the second set-up.:) If not, then your only going to get the one.:( Edited September 11, 2014 by cruisingpeople

Seal Posted September 11, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 11, 2014 We've received the 2nd set up a couple of times--Didn't really expect it--then the Room Steward brought back 2 set ups for the second week--total of three--not too bad!!! In every case we got the second mini bar setup without even asking
ggprincess2004 Posted September 12, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 12, 2014 It has been our experience that we get a mini-bar set up at the start of every segment, whether it has been booked as a b2b or as one cruise. We also get another supply of the elite bathroom amenities that are available on the cruise.

If you book a cruise as a 14 day that could have been booked as a 7 day B2B you still get another mini-bar set up at the start of the next segment. We only have one Booking Number but still get the mini-bar set up for each segment. :) LuLu Edited September 12, 2014 by OCruisers
paul929207 Posted September 12, 2014 #9 Share Posted September 12, 2014 The one thing that is based on how you booked is OBC. For instance, Shareholder & Military OBC for each of the two 7 days cruises would be $100. For one 14 day cruise it would be $25. Loyalty OBC is given for each leg booked. So you would get one award for the 14 day cruise vs. one each for the 7 day cruises. The FCC OBC would also be different.

I am confused by the whole OBC thing, but that is OK!
Rare PescadoAmarillo Posted September 12, 2014 #11 Share Posted September 12, 2014 In our experience, minibar and internet are replenished every turnaround regardless of how we booked the cruises.
