NOS- Cozumel after Tulum excursion

It depends on how long your ship is in port, but probably not much. It's a long day to Tulum. However, one cruise we were in Cozumel until 11:00 P.M., so there would have been some time at the port.

Also, they should tell you how long the tour is; you can figure out how much time you will have before sailing.

We went to Tulum on our LOS cruise last year, and there was less than an hour before the ship left when we got back. We decided the best course of action was to grab some drinks and watch all the spring breakers stumble back down the pier from our balcony. I highly recommend that as an activity if you can.

More than half of the time on Tulum excursion is getting there and back. You take the ferry over to the mainland, then a rather long bus ride. Once you get there, you have an hour and a half or two hours kind of time. Then you take the bus back and get on a ferry back over to the island. Don't expect to have a lot of time in Cozumel once you get back unless your ship is scheduled to stay quite late in port. Most ships leave port 5 or 6 pm.
