We will have 47 points going into our cruise on the Pearl next year. That cruise will put us up and into Gold Status. Will we be gold and get the Perks on that cruise or does it kick in after the cruise is over?

Your points do not accrue until your cruise is completed.

You get extra points for booking 9 months in advance.

Certain cruises are Latitudes bonus cruises, you need to see which ones on which dates.

I was wondering about getting an NCL credit card or other methods to earn points other than cruising. Not sure if there are ways or not.

It is definitely non-refundable OBC.

Or if you wait until $250 level you can get cash.

If under $250, take the obc to pay the remaining $150 when you buy your $250 cruise reward for the next cruise.

By both me and my husband taking out the NCL credit card, we were able to get $200 ($100 ea.) deducted from our final payment.

The extra points are for booking nine months in advance, not 90 days.

90 days is usually when final payment is due, so no points for booking that late.
