Recent cruisers- taxi cost to beach

For anyone who has been to Cozumel in the last few months, what is the approximate cost for a taxi to Paradise Beach or Mr. Sanchos for 3 people? If it makes a difference, we are sailing on Carnival and I am not sure which port they use.

 

I am not sure which we are going to, but have it narrowed down to one of these. While we are on the topic, if anyone has been to both, which do you prefer and why?

 

We will probably eat some food (probably share some apps or maybe a couple of entrees) and buy a few drinks. I don't drink much and DH will probably get a bucket of beers. Also, we will probably spend more time at the pool than the beach, as our DD is 3 and its just easier that way. So basically looking for which place has better food, prices and pool.

The cab will run around 15.00 ea way for three. We prefer Paradise Beach because of the pool and the availability of shade. Food and drink prices are the same.

Three of us one way to downtown by Margaritaville (sp) $10 with tip.

I think $17+tip for up to 4 passengers in the cab - check with your roll call to see if anyone else needs a ride and save $$ for more drinks! :D

 

We also prefer Paradise - great facilities and HUGE pool. Mr. S does offer an all-inclusive (food & drinks) option that you cannot get at Paradise Beach.
