Pullman Beds on Brilliance of the Seas

MamanMagoo, the upper berth will pull down from the ceiling (btw, only your cabin steward is permitted to bring it down and back up for you). There is a minimum age of 6 years old, and there is a bed rail for the pullman. The bed length is 76", and it has a maximum weight of 300 lbs. I've always heard that they are comfortable, more so than the sofabeds.

Just want to add- you may want to bring along a battery-operated candle or two. They add just a bit of light, in case someone needs to get up during the night. :)

Here is a photo to give you an idea (although I don't know what RCI ship this is):

May not look exactly like this, but gives you a good idea:

When my Grandson was 9, he couldn't wait to get into bed because of the pullman. He didn't have bunk beds at home and thought this was great. They're perfectly safe and during the day, they are out of sight. Much more comfortable than the sofa bed.
