I'm really REALLY considering that 10/05 reunion cruise. And for those of you that were on the original, for just a fleeting moment, I thought of seeing if Steve wanted to come. I KNOW!! Beat me with an empty martini glass. We'd have a lot more fun without my kids there though.

 

And then for even a longer fleeting moment I thought of seeing if "necklace fairy" wanted to room with me, but I cherish our friendship too much. She'd be all OVER me to clean up!

Now THAT is what I mean by great people! Beth is asking how my Dad is. He had a heart attack TWO years ago! Bless you. He's doing great. My mom was just here to help me after surgery and she's doing great as well. Yes, Steve is the one you are thinking of. I've been dating frequently, but since he's the father of my kids, I sort of need to be civil. LOL!!! Have you given thought to going on the reunion cruise?

Oct 2005. I wonder if I can convince Art to go to visit DD#2 in BC for a week. He goes by himself because I just don't do that whole nature thing very well. That would leave me free for a week. Hmmmmm. I'll have to check this one out.

 

I'm so glad your Dad's doing well. You'll have to email me and tell me all about your surgery. I had one last year too. Maybe we can compare scars.

I have been sorely tempted to join the OCt 05 cruise, and if all of you are going, well, count me in! Lori - I think you AND I need to go solo this time, and both leave our kids at home. Did you see the price for the mini-suite? I'll be your roomie and we can be party central.

 

And - no knee high nylons with knee length skirts.

 

THis time I will bring lighter weight t-shirts and shorts. It's dang HOT there.

I would sooo love to see you all again! Some of you oldies (but goodies) missed our first group cruise, but you could plan ahead.

 

I'll have to give this one some thought and if it works out, then I'm going to have to go back to work to justify it to my DH. He almost wouldn't cruise again after the ET because of some unnamed people who are no longer around. BUT we found the cure and he's back on track after cruising with Tannise, Busrider, Cruise Diva and her hubby last year. Whew!

 

Did I hear Party Central? Well, after my last cruise, I think I'm still up to it! LOL

It's great seeing all you "old timers" posting again! I've been around for awhile--posting here and there. I remember back to the first Oaktown Traveler blow by blow description of her wordrobe -- and all the matching outfits and undies--and the St. John's -- and , and, and!!

 

What I noticed most about all you girls is the comeraderie that was forged "back in the day"! Savor it! You have rare and valuable gift.

 

I also learned a lot about who's wearing what -- and what a sausage thingee is!

I'm loving hearing from some of the really old timers who didn't cruise with us. You thought you were lurking, but we KNEW you were part of us!

This is way too funny. Deb and Rox talking about cruising without their DH's. Mine has said that I had WAY too much fun without him--I'm pretty sure he'd be my roomie even on a "sisters only" cruise.

I'm gonna have to take a look and see exactly what's up with next October, Mir! Can't have you all planning for the next 17 months and being left out!

Wow!! It's soooo great to see some names that I haven't seen in awhile.......Char, Patgo, et al. Too bad you couldn't have made it to the ET cruise - we all just picked up where we left off on the board. It didn't even feel like we were meeting face to face for the first time. Now I feel like that group will be sisters for life.

We sure had some fun threads way back. I don't know about recreating the eagle has landed again. That would mean finding another rat for Lori and I don't think she'd let me off the hook a second time. I was going to show her the sights and we never did make it to San Francisco.

I would love to make the 10/05 cruise - just don't know if it's in the cards.

Mir & Lill - next time, promise not to keep Busrider out so late! He gets grumpy if he doesn't get his beauty rest. LOL

Lori - if we do make the next cruise, will you know who be snoring on the balcony?

Lene - I think Lori & I were planning the ETC for 15 months!! I can't believe I was crazy enough to book that far out.

Lill - oy - no more adoration for Busrider, remember I know your cabin # on the Diamond. hehehe
