Carnival slot machine instructions

Does anyone have instructions for using your S & S card in the slot machines? And maybe a pic of the buttons?

My dad loves to camp out at a quarter slot machine but he has a hard time remembering how to get money, cash out, etc. I'm thinking I could make a pocket sized cheat sheet for him if I had the info.

Thanks in advance!!

First off, is he familiar with slot machines in land based casinos? The keypads are the same as they are on land. Basically two rows of numbers. 1-5, then the bottom row is 6-0.

Have him put his card in the slot. Then put in money. Have him enter a four digit PIN. Then hit "Enter". Start playing. When he's done and there's any money left, hit "Cash Out" on the machine. It will automatically go onto his card.

Then he can go to another machine. Put his card into the machine. Enter his PIN on the pad. Hit "Enter". It will ask how much of his money he wants to transfer to the new machine. Hit that amount, then hit "Enter". It will take the amount he chooses and put it in the machine. Then he can start playing. It's really simple and there are always casino helpers walking around if he needs help.

First he has to set up his players bank.'

Insert his S&S card.

There is a yellow button that says either "change pin" or create pin.

Then it prompts you to enter your BD mmddyy format and again to confirm it.

Then it prompts you to enter a four digit pin.

Now that that set up he can insert money and begin playing. When he is ready to move to another machine if there are credits still in the current machine he hits the cash out button and the credits are uploaded to his players bank and he can remove his card.

When he goes to the next machine and inserts his card he can either insert more money or hit the players bank button if he wants to play with his credits. It will ask him for his pin number then tell him how much money is available to download. He enters whole dollar amounts only.

Also, if he wants to play and doesn't have credits or cash, he can get money and charge it to his S&S card. It will ask for the amount he wants to get and he can key in the amount from the touch pad.

Almost everything he does will ask for his pin number. It is also important to remember to cash out any remaining credits on the last day or night. Good luck to him.

Here's a picture to go with these instructions. Tell him to leave his card in the machine while he is playing.

Thanks for the help. So just to be sure I understand...I have a bunch of OBC and some gift cards on my account. I put my card in the machine and set up a pin. I can then transfer money to the players bank and cash that out. Is this correct?

Yep. Just hit the proper button and enter an amount to transfer. It will upload to your machine. To get your cash, go to the cage with your card and the cashier will give you your $$

I set a daily limit and play the slots. Some days I lose, some I win. I like to bank what's left each day. At the end of the cruise I go cash out, instead of every day. DH plays roulette and we save any chips he wins and do the same thing. That way we don't lose everything. (And we have actually come back several hundreds ahead)

Be sure he understands that he MUST cash out when leaving the machine otherwise the credit will remain and be taken by the next player, even after he removes his SS card.

Good point! So I just hit cash out button as normal and it goes directly to players bank, correct? So the only thing different is I dont get a ticket?

I'm having a brain fart..... by doing this, you can technically cash out on any non-refundable OBC, right?

Well, kind of...you have to play a little or they will lock your account. My husband did the transfer and then cashed out...next time he tried to play they had locked his account because he hadn't played at all between the transfer and getting the cash. Just keep that in mind.
