Which soft drinks and bottled waters are in room?

Yes, I understand any alcoholic drinks are an extra charge except for the one Captain's night. What beverages are included at meals whether in the specialty restaurants or at the terrace grill?

Are specialty coffees complimentary or an extra charge at the Barista?

As to what is in your room, you can request your favorite brand and it will be stocked for you. I always request diet tonic water --- since it is not typically available, I ask my travel agent to request it from O well ahead of time. On boarding it is always waiting for us!

We second the advice. If available (and it is amazing what they can get) any soft drink/water will be in your fridge on boarding if you request it through your travel agent well in advance. Let him/her know as soon as possible as they may ship it from the US!

You can also request your room steward remove what you don't want from the fridge to make more room for your selections.

Usually cocoa cola brands

They use several suppliers for bottled water

You get 2 large bottles in the cabin

Replaced as required

small bottles are at the gangway for going ashore

Not being argumentative, Lyn. I have heard of folks insisting on and getting Pepsi or Dr Pepper.

Yes some people do REQUEST those ahead of time

Usually the standard issue is Cocoa Cola products

We did have Canada Dry ginger ale one trip

I've been served Canada Dry( Dr Pepper's brand) in the bar as Schwepps wasn't available.

I was not aware Canada dry was part of Dr Pepper ...must be a UK thing

It is hard to know what company owns what these days with all the mergers & buyouts

So right....it was a 'spin off' from Schwepps:confused:

As you say who owns what these days......as confusing as cruise lines:D

Be aware that they don't always supply anything/everything that is requested. We asked for ginger beer prior to our south pacific cruise. We made the request months in advance through our TA. They wanted to charge us $5 per bottle to which we politely declined.

So I guess the moral of the story is if you want a specific soda ...ask in advance ;)

I have looked & Canada Dry is/was owned by Snapple

Our Schweppes tonic in the fridge says from Canada Dry

I rarely drink sodas so I do not really care I will drink any of them as long as it is not diet with aspartame

Yes, we did. We were told that the fee was because of the difficulty that the distributor would have in supplying our request. We did find that many soft drinks were in short supply on that cruise. Fro instance, coke zero ran out about halfway through....as did ginger ale.
