ilovetotravel1977 Posted November 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Just checked our cruise and it went down $100 pp and it still includes the 10% OBC promotion! Check your trips, folks! :D
Shellbelle28 Posted November 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Still about $300 pp more than what I've got now (booked 10/14/14 SF category 7 day Alaska). Same OBC. Did not get the free dining offered with this new promotion, but that's not worth $600.
lbrandon Posted November 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Mine went up $50 since yesterday.

umpy10 Posted November 5, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Our Alaska cruise has gone up $630 since we booked, I doubt very much that it will come down before final payment. cheers...the Ump...:D
Shawnino Posted November 5, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Both legs of our B2B are up today :( But I had fun looking :)
getupgo Posted November 5, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 5, 2014 We booked last March for Feb 2015 and the price is $300 more with final payment the end of Nov. Not too hopeful for a drop before then. I wish NCL had a Early Saver like Carnival so you get price drops up to 2 days before. NCL will drop the price on my cruise because there are many empty cabins, but it will be too late for me to cash in.
WeehawkenCruiser Posted November 5, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Ours dropped $300. I was able to call and get them to move me to a better cabin :)
CasinoCruzGirl Posted November 5, 2014 #9 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Our dropped a couple weeks ago. Since then been holding steady. Waiting to see if it drops again closer to our sail date which is 24 days away.
ilovetotravel1977 Posted November 5, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Anyone here work with a TA only to have them switch the file directly over to NCL? This the second time I have called my agent to ask them to "work" for me, and both times I feel like I am annoying her with my requests... How do I get it switched over? Rare EllieinNJ Posted November 5, 2014 #11 Share Posted November 5, 2014 My cruise is up $320pp since I booked it in June. It was one of the few cruises I was interested in that was cheaper in 2015 than 2014 when I booked. On another note, I cannot believe how the rates plunged for Nov. & Dec. for the Breakaway and Gem out of NY. If we were retired we would jump at these prices in a heartbeat but it is too late to change our work schedule.
Baseball fan Posted November 5, 2014 #12 Share Posted November 5, 2014 I checked my prices and they are the same. Thanks for the tip! Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

momoftwinteens Posted November 5, 2014 #15 Share Posted November 5, 2014 My cruise for next year is higher than when i booked it. Since I have never been on a Bermuda cruise, I don't know if the price will drop or not. I know bermuda is supply and demand so, maybe not. I will keep watching, though, because one never knows. Squidward Q Tentacles Posted November 5, 2014 #16 Share Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) Boy do I love NCL! I received a free upgrade to a OA from an OB on my Dec 1, 2014 cruise. Edited November 5, 2014 by Squidward Q Tentacles
minn55441 Posted November 5, 2014 #17 Share Posted November 5, 2014 We booked last July for up coming January Cruise and our cabin is now an exact $700 more (total) then we paid with the same amount of OBC. Prices go up and down every day.
pr0pel Posted November 5, 2014 #18 Share Posted November 5, 2014 After final payment.. went from a BX to a M2, kept KSF and a big chunk of OBC my TA provided as part of the initial booking. This is great!
MACE Posted November 5, 2014 #19 Share Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) We booked a BX early October when they had the 10% OBC credit for our December cruise, paid in full, and have since gone to a BD then a B4. Yesterday saw some price reductions, called our TA and got upgraded to a MA, still keeping the original NCL 10% OBC promo and our TA's $100 OBC Edited November 5, 2014 by MACE
ilovetotravel1977 Posted November 5, 2014 Author #20 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Nice!! How did you get both the OBC and the dining package? I just wish my TA would call me back FFS!
cruisin07family Posted November 5, 2014 #21 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Haven suite on my sailing in 3 days is now $1299 - yesterday was $1549. Still out of my range but I wish.....
ilovetotravel1977 Posted November 5, 2014 Author #22 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Finally got my rate changed...Saved $215 CDN and only lost $20 in OBC with the lower cruise price.

I can dream can't I? Or has this been know to happen A pp said they got an upgrade but kept ksf. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

I can dream can't I? Or has this been know to happen A pp said they got an upgrade but kept ksf. Sent from my iPhone using Forums Yes, I was able to upgrade, keep KSF, and keep $400 in OBC. The next category was cheaper than my current category which is why I was able to upgrade. Since yours is the opposite, where it is more, keep watching for it to drop. kitten3008 Posted November 6, 2014 #25 Share Posted November 6, 2014 We're in the same boat on the price of our cruise - I've been keeping a sharp eye on it but it's never gone anywhere but up! We're in an aft balcony on the March 8 2015 Epic sailing and prices are over $300 pp more than we paid!
