Onboard credit saving

Happy Friday everyone

 

I have a question related to the sale that is going in now " onboard credit saving ". Does the onboard credit will show in my reservation after I book because I was doing a fake reservation and I don't see that credit anywhere.

It usually shows up in the summary of charges when you are on the website doing the booking.

The onboard credit will also show up on the booking confirmation you get from Royal. However, once the cruise is booked, the OBC no longer shows up on the website.

Also if you received any sort of balcony discount it is not combinable with the OBC offer

I don't believe so. When I just did a mock booking, there is a line that says "Onboard Credit".

I'm almost certain the current OBC promo is not combinable with most other offers (senior, resident etc). Essentially it has to be the full fare no discounts.

The current promo is not combinable with special rates, C&A balcony discount, etc. etc. It runs through Nov. 16.

 

If it is available on your sailing.... Don't log in....and under summary of charges it will show the onboard credit.

 

If you are logged in and do a mock booking, it will show your C&A savings or balcony discount. (again, not combinable)

 

After booking it will be shown on your .pdf Booking Confirmation- Guest Copy.

 

Even though it wasn't a specifically mentioned cruise, we received $1000 OBC on a last minute JS for December. :)

I just booked assuming we would get the OBC. It didn't show so I called. She said if you book with resident or senior rate, you don't get the OBC. She took off the resident discount....and the price jumped up $1250. I feel like it's kind of unfair with them promoting the OBC like that. We'll stick with the cheaper rate

What section of the cruise docs do you see onboard credit? I've looked through our cruise docs for an upcoming cruise and don't see anything about OBC.

It's under cruise planner/onboard credit confirmation. On ours its page 10.

May be try to call them to confirm and keep whatever documentation you have that reflects that.
