Rare Presto2 Posted December 8, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Sooooooooooo excited. Our 'baby's' on the move! We remember when we watched the Celebrity Silhouette grow from a piece of metal to her naming ceremony in 2011. It was quite emotional when we first stepped foot on her. Now it is Britannia's time -------- yip yip yip yipeeeeee Can't wait :):D:D
Thejuggler Posted December 8, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Fourteen photos on AIS database. Thankfully they have the correct spelling. Union flag looks the part, but the bow profile looks wrong, far too short.

terrierjohn Posted December 8, 2014 #9 Share Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) I do hope that chandelier is firmly secured, especially for rough BOB crossings. She actually looks a lot more elegant in these pictures than the Royal Princess, which we saw in Venice last year. PurpleMoonlight Posted December 9, 2014 #10 Share Posted December 9, 2014 No doubt scrumptious inside, but there isn't much class to the outside in my opinion.
Jo and Rob Posted December 9, 2014 #11 Share Posted December 9, 2014 No doubt scrumptious inside, but there isn't much class to the outside in my opinion. I disagree I think she looks fabulous. We are sailing on Britannia on 28th March and plan to take loads of photographs and make a video to show Britannia's highlights.

TOMOGP Posted December 9, 2014 #13 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Looks good apart from that so called Union flag on the bow that cheapens the ship:confused:
besberry Posted December 9, 2014 #14 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Looks good apart from that so called Union flag on the bow that cheapens the ship:confused: I disagree, I think it looks OK. Looking forward to seeing it on Aurora in 4 weeks time.
TOMOGP Posted December 11, 2014 #15 Share Posted December 11, 2014 I disagree, I think it looks OK. Looking forward to seeing it on Aurora in 4 weeks time. You obviously get on as we get off from our Christmas trip Jan 4th
besberry Posted December 11, 2014 #16 Share Posted December 11, 2014 You obviously get on as we get off from our Christmas trip Jan 4th Yep, we must. We'll let you iron out the kinks. Thanks ;). I went on the Oasis straight after her dry dock and had a great time, but boy were people complaining about things. There were always queues at Customer Services no matter what time of day or night. Things slowly got ironed out. So many people complained that RCI is giving us back 20% of the cruise fare in the form of a future cruise certificate. I'm sure P&O aren't rushing the refit like RCI did. Enjoy your cruise, I really want to do a Christmas cruise. And don't scuff her too much before I board, lol. richleeds Posted December 22, 2014 #21 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Congratulations on getting that job on Britannia in the kitchens!:D I know! Thanks! I'm not really sure what the reference to the apron means? I think with a bit more imagination the marketing dept could have put the logo on something a bit more appealing. Like a nice Mont Blanc pen for example!
jeanlyon Posted December 22, 2014 #22 Share Posted December 22, 2014 No doubt scrumptious inside, but there isn't much class to the outside in my opinion. Certainly isn't. Just a big lump. No style at all, but that's what all the new ones look like.
