Disembarking British Isles Cruise in Le Havre

Someone recently posted on here that it's fairly common to disembark in Le Havre, France on the British Isles cruise. Has anyone done this? What are the required preparations? I know it must be pre-arranged with Princess, but I don't know anything beyond that.

During our BI cruise no special prep was necessary. Many choose to visit Paris or the Normandy D-Day beachs, but be aware of the very long bus ride.

Another alternative is to spend some time in Honfleur a beautiful french village/town. It an easy taxi ride. Consider it a "day off" from a very port intensive cruise.

I think the OP is talking about leaving the ship and not coming back. Yes it has to be approved by Princess and just remember there is the possibility that the ship may not make it into Le Havre due to weather so have a backup plan. Best to call Princess directly to get the information.
