Early morning fountain soda

Can anyone tell me where to get an early morning fountain soda, when I purchase the soda sticker, if none of the bars are open yet. I only drink fountain soda, no cans and I am usually up by 4am so I won't want to wait several hours. Thanks

I would get a couple of cans and leave them in your frig. Sorry dont think you have an alternative.

If the bars are closed, you can't get a fountain soda. Pack a couple of cans. I understand you don't like cans, but it won't kill you until the bars open.

I am a fan of fountain soda as well. In my 2 prior cruises I have only saw canned soda. Where do you find it from the fountain? Even at the bars I was always given cans.

even at the bars they pour it out of a can. they dont have fountain any where on ship, only cans. if you have a sticker you only get a glass full and they keep the rest of can.

I have only seen cans on Carnival, but maybe the newer ships have a fountain. Since you can bring your own, you might want to bring some bottles for early morning.

If you're a big soda drinker, it might be, but you only get a glass at a time, not the can. But you can bring your own on board and replenish in ports. The sticker also includes juices, like cranberry and others that you can't get in the morning at the buffet.

Thanks everyone, cans it is I guess. I just assumed that the bars on the ship had the soda tap gun thingy that you see in bars on land.

The bars DO have them, but few bars are open at 4am! Pour your can soda over ice..you won't be able to tell the difference.

You are 100% correct, however I will never understand why they use cans instead of fountain soda. Fountain syrup is extremely cheap and must be much cheaper than cans. They must have some reason that I cannot see.

Try the casino bar. I have always had luck there, as they have a soda "gun"

I have yet to see a fountain for Sodas....only out of the can ....and to make it worst the cans are warm so they pour warm soda over ice and it turns the soda watery ......I would prefer out of the Fountain myself I hate how the pour it warm......

Just off Conquest in late Dec I found fountain diet coke at Red Frog right away. They had cans too but when they used the old bar gun for me once I just asked for it after that. Not all seemed to have it but check around and you'll likely be able to find yourself a supplier. Not open as early 4 they were around fairly early in the morn ( had to look for them... doing prep and set up ) so you can likely get your on tap soda set up by breakfast time. While it could have helped that I did pop them a single as an extra tip a couple times they were very nice about it all and by the last few days greeted me by name with tap in hand each morn.

 

Good look on the soda hook up and have a great trip.

There is always a bar open that will serve you a can drink in a glass.

I was positive they had fountains on Glory at the Blue Iguana tequila bar. I will confirm when on Conquest in 2 weeks

I asked this question to the "Beards" once they told me it was because the canned soda is always the same mixture and does not have to be adjusted. I am certain it also has to do with some profit and loss for using fountain vs cans.

I also love fountain sodas! The Sunshine had fountain at the bars on lido but the Dream & Magic only have cans (that's all I've seen). Maybe there is a bar on board that has fountain but I've not seen it. I agree with previous post, last stop before boarding is a fountain drink stop and 1st stop after getting off the ship is a fountain drink stop!!! Yes, I'm addicted!

The Atrium bar is usually open 24 hours a day to get soda or coffee.
