Is there anything to do directly at the pier? Any attractions, stores, or beaches right there? Also is the pier safe? Never been to this port before so any info is appreciated! Thanks!

It depends which cruiseline you are with and therefore which pier?

As c-leg5 says, much of the answer depends on where your ship ports.

Mahogany Bay has a beach and a web site full of info.

If your ship ports in Coxen Hole there are shops and a small village but if you wish a beach you will have to sort transport.

Both of the piers are safe.

If you want to hang out and enjoy the view check out captain jacks

We just returned and found this little gem

Its about a three minute walk heading left down the street from the port

You can see it from the port area

Its a bar built on a pier and has a cerviche sign on it

Good cold local beer

Good mojito

The grilled lobster tails looked fabulous

Great way to end you day or pass the afternoon

Has wifi as well

I think that used to be called something else. Maybe Guest 2000 knows. A tad rundown on the outside as I recall, but nice view of Flowers Bay on the right looking out toward the ocean. It was always empty when we drove by in a taxi. But sounds like my kind of hole-in-the-wall place:). DW would probably be worried out catching some intestinal thingy.
