My husband and I will be on the CB on March 14 and I was wondering if anyone knew when the formal nights would be. My husband is not big on dressing up and I thought that I would make a reservation in one of the specialty restaurants for those nights. He doesn't mind dress pants and dress shirt but thats about it. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Most likely the two sea days, Sunday 3/15 and Thursday 3/19. Your husband can go to the MDR on formal night with dress pants, dress shirt and tie, no jacket. There will be some dressed in this manner. Some may even be without a tie.

Thank you for your help, I do appreciate it. I think its the tie thing that annoys him only because he has worn one 5 days a week to work for over 40 yrs. I'm fine with dressing up but it will be easier for me just to book a specialty restaurant. Again, thank you for your response.

I just checked my eticket boarding pass and it says Sailing Date, March 14 at 4:00 PM out of Ft. Lauderdale on Caribbean Princess. LOL I almost had heart failure. Thanks for info on dining, I appreciate it.

Since you can't book for the specialty dining until after you are onboard you can just go to the MDR and ask them which nights will be formal and then book your alternative dining venue afterward.

No need to go to the dining room.

Embarkation day Patter will list which evenings are formal.
