walking and taxi

If we want to go to cemetery Beach in Grand Cayman and walk to Calico Jacks will it be easy to get a taxi back to the cruise port? been twice and have done stingrays, turtle farm, city tour, and hell. Just wanting a relaxing day at the beach. Any suggestions?

my son and I took a cab to cemetery beach a few years ago to snorkel the reef which is excellent. I got the cab driver's card and called her to come get us when we were done. she was at the airport and it took her less than 15 minutes to get to the drop off point. it was a very positive experience. I've always found the cab drivers very friendly there. you should have no problem. its the same as Tortola. good luck!

It is about a mile and a half long walk between Cemetery Beach and Calico Jacks.

 

Calico Jacks is immediately adjacent to the Seven Mile Beach Public Beach. There likely will be several taxis just hanging out there in the afternoon hoping to pick up a fare.

How far is it to walk from the port to these beaches. Leaving in may on carnival breeze for western cruise

Royals Palms Beach Club is around 1.5 miles from the tender pier. Calico Jack's around 2 miles and Cemetery Beach way too far to walk.

Buses runs 2.50 and shuttle is 5.00 p/p ea way.

There is a bus stop just along the road...hop the bus back to the dock!!!
